Tri-Council Varsity Challenge
Calling all Varsity Scouts! Come join in the largest gathering of the "Orange" in BSA history.
The 2008 Tri-Council Varsity Challenge, held on September 12 & 13, 2008, will include Varsity Teams from the Great Salt Lake, Trapper Trails, and Utah National Parks Councils.
The challenge will be full of activities, games and fun, including live entertainment and fireworks. Go to http://www.gslc-bsa.org/varsity/ for more information, as well as to access the Leader's Guide with more details.

Silver Beaver Recognition Banquet The Silver Beaver Annual Recognition Banquet will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. in Provo. Our Council will present 90 Silver Beaver awards to exceptional volunteers. Help us celebrate by clicking above for more information and to register to attend the banquet!
The Utah National Guard will award the Silver Star to Provo Guardsman Tyler Jensen - a Venturing leader before his deployment , for "courage, superlative combat skills and tactical leadership under overwhelming direct enemy fire." Click the picture above for more information.

The focus of 2008 will be on leadership.
