  • Update on Scout Camp Flu/Sickness Plans
    There have been many questions on how the Utah National Parks Council is handling flu and illness at our camps, including the H1N1 flu virus (also known as the swine flu). The safety of our youth as well as leaders are prime considerations for the council, and we hope that this information will help you understand the steps that we are taking, as well as what is expected of each individual and unit coming to camp.
  • Silver Beaver Recognition Event
    The Silver Beaver Award is one of the more prestigious awards made by the Boy Scouts of America. The award is presented by the National Boy Scouts and is the highest award that a local council can bestow on a volunteer for rendering outstanding service to Scout Youth.Join us this year as we recognize the 2009 Silver Beaver award recipients! An awards ceremony will be held at the Provo Tabernacle, followed by a reception. Click to register online!
